The Comparative Study is one of the three exam components for the IB Art Visual course. It is an independent, critical, and contextual investigation that explores artworks from differing cultural contexts. My Comparative Study is a comparison and juxtaposition between three artworks by three different artists from distinct cultures and time periods. In my Comparative Study, I compared and contrasted the meaning of gold symbolism as well as examined in what capacity it was used in throughout the 13th century BC to the 20th century.
